St Vincent de Paul of Brown County is an organization whose mission is to offer person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering, making no distinction in those served.
We have a warehouse on Clay Lick Road which is open on Monday and Saturday from 10 to 12 where clients may come for household items, clothing and food . Everything is given to the clients free of charge.
All the people working for St. Vincent de Paul are volunteers (several of whom live here at the Lakes).
What I would like to ask of the residents of the Lakes area is to remember St. Vincent's when they want to donate usable items such as, mattresses, box springs, furniture, linens, household items or clothing.
There are several volunteers at the lake who are willing to pick up these items if the resident can not get it to the warehouse on the days it is open.
